The number a company gives each variation is NOT stable — the Royal Ballet's #2 is the man (Alexander Campbell), the Mariinsky's #2 is a woman (Yekaterina Osmolkina) — so the sections are identified by the dancer, which is observable from any recording, rather than by position.
