The Pasha's Palace

The Act III fan dance of the Pasha's palace, created for the Bolshoi's 2007 production and set to music from Riccardo Drigo's score for The Enchanted Forest (La Forêt enchantée). Distinct from — and much later than — Petipa's Grand Pas des Éventails, in which Medora dances with sixteen coryphées wielding fans; that earlier number was itself replaced in 1915 by Andrianov's pas d'action, the piece now known as the Le Corsaire Pas de Deux. The composer attribution lived in this title as '(Drigo)' until 2026-07-28; brackets are reserved for suite membership, so the provenance is recorded here instead.
